I set myself a challenge to make 52 things in 52 weeks to try and encourage myself to rediscover the joy of making. So far that means I’ve got a canoe, two unique three string guitars and a set of Viking armour for a cat, to name but a few things. Oh and there’s a podcast.
Making is a release and a sanctuary. My workshop and my sewing room are places to go to forget about the world and get lost in creativity.
The idea of this community is to encourage and maybe inspire you to make things, or if you already make to make more things. It doesn’t matter if that’s crochet or leather work, blacksmithing or poetry, cabinet making or embroidery. I’m talking to painters and authors, dancers and musicians. If it’s creative; it belongs here. If you are creative you belong here.
There are patterns and 3D print files to download and a section where you can post your makes to share with others and as we evolve there’ll be a space to share your skills and experience.
